In his early twenties, Mathieu Lapointe established his own business to export products made in Quebec. During a large part of his career, Mathieu held positions in the furniture, industrial machinery and ICT sectors as an international business management director. His tasks included maintaining and implementing the ecosystem of those businesses worldwide and developing industrial and trade partnerships with multinationals abroad. After serving as an international marketing consultant with private firms, he worked with various export promotion organizations to support businesses in expanding their operations worldwide and raising their awareness about the importance of breaking into new markets.
