Jean-François Ouellon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Sciences from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) with a major in Marketing and Advertising. He has over 10 years of experience as a business and economic development consultant in a wide range of sectors (i.e. forestry, non-timber forest products, mining, construction, transport, tourism, accommodations, food services, services, retail trade, etc.).

His approach is focused on the thorough analysis of businesses’ real needs and the genuine commitment of main stakeholders to provide businesses with creative, ground-breaking strategies and solutions that are tailored to their individual cultural, economic, social and environmental realities.

He has participated in several projects, including feasibility studies, business plans, strategic plans, market studies and communication-marketing plans, as well as in the start-up, restructuring and development of numerous businesses.

With his sense of creativity and innate communication skills, he is a key partner in terms of facilitating business model workshops, developing communication and promotional campaigns, and designing brand images and communication tools.

Jean-François has a fine command of French, English and Spanish and a remarkable expertise in First Nations matters.
